Miss Orlando Pageant and Children’s Miracle Network host basketball tournament on August 8th at UCF-The Venue
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit your local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals; Arnold Palmer Medical Center in Orlando and Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville
[Orlando] (August 3, 2010)—On Sunday, Aug. 8, the Miss Orlando Pageantalong with Greater Orlando Children’s Miracle Network will host a basketball tournament at UCF-The Venue. Local celebrities will play in the basketball game that starts at 5:00 pm. Jullian and the Hearthrob Heroes will be performing live during halftime. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit both Arnold Palmer Medical Center in Orlando and Shands Children’s Hospital at UF in Gainesville along with the Miss Orlando Scholarship Pageant.
Bo Outlaw and Nick Anderson of the Orlando Magic will act as the team coaches, Jessica Reyes of Mega 98.1 will be the host for the evening, game announcer will be Clear Channel Traffic Reporter, Kevin Baldinger, with music by DJ SiTickets during the game. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students, with a valid student ID.
