FAMILY FUN DAY TO BENEFIT CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK JULY 22

Festival Bay Mall will kick-off tax free week Saturday, July 22 with Family Fun Day to benefit Children's Miracle Network. The event will be held from 2pm - 5pm in the mall's center court and is free to the public.

Festival Bay Mall will host booths, games, a bounce house, a silent auction, Orlando's only 35 foot Hotwheels track, face painting, balloon artists and much more. Entertainment will include a live concert featuring musical artists who are part of a Music for Miracles CD sold to benefit Children's Miracle Network. One performer, Kimberley Thach, is a Miracle Kid who benefited from funds raised through Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network.

All proceeds from Family Fun Day will benefit the pediatric programs at Shands Children's Hospital at UF and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children through Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network. The funds will be used to purchase patient care equipment, fund research, provide diversionary activities and produce patient education materials.

Children's Miracle Network began in 1983 to actively support better health care for kids. Today more than 170 hospitals throughout the United States and Canada, specializing in treating children, make up Children's Miracle Network. The organization is unique in that 100 percent of the money raised locally stays in the local community to benefit the participating Children's Miracle Network hospital.
