Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity will roll a six-foot beach ball around the University of Central Florida campus Monday, August 27 through Friday, August 31, getting signatures to raise money for Shands Children's Hospital at UF and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children through Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network.

ZBT fraternity members will roll the ball through the center of the UCF campus from 10:00am to 2:00pm each day in hopes to get as many people to sign the ball as possible. Based on pledges made by local businesses, the event will raise money for ZBT's national philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network (CMN), according to the number of signatures at the end of the week.

CMN began in 1983 to raise funds for children's hospitals and awareness of the services they provide. Today, there are 170 CMN hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. The money raised through CMN sponsors and programs in each community benefits the local participating CMN hospitals. Proceeds from "Get on the Ball" will benefit the pediatric programs at Shands Children's Hospital and Arnold Palmer Hospital through Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network. The money is used to fund equipment, research and programs that ensure these hospitals are able to provide the most advance level of medical care for children.
