Beat the Summer Heat and Support Children’s Miracle Network with a Dairy Queen® Blizzard® on August 5
Proceeds from Blizzard sales will benefit Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across North America on theFifth Annual Miracle Treat Day
[Orlando] (July 28, 2010)—On Thursday, Aug. 5, Dairy Queen®will host the fifth annual North American “Miracle Treat Day,” with $1 or more from every Blizzard®sold being donated to Children’s Miracle Network, a nonprofit organization that raises money for children’s hospitals. Proceeds from Blizzard sales in this area will benefit both Arnold Palmer Medical Center in Orlando and Shands Children’s Hospital at UF in Gainesville.
A national corporate sponsor since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised more than $81 million for Children’s Miracle Network, making it one of the top five contributors to the charity. Stop by and grab a Blizzard, a creamy, smooth DQ soft serve blended with your favorite candy, cookies, or fruit; It is sure to be an irresistible taste sensation for the entire family!
Miss Orlando, Vicky DiSanto, and Children’s Miracle Network Florida Champion, Carson Chorney, will be at the Apopka Dairy Queen at 3pm helping with the sale of Blizzards.
