About Children's Miracle Network: Since 1983, Children's Miracle Network has been actively supporting better health care for kids. Its mission is to generate funds and awareness programs for over 170 associated hospitals. The organization is unique in that the money that is raised locally stays in the local community to benefit the participating Children's Miracle Network hospital.

Shands Children's Hospital at the University of Florida and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children are the participating Children's Miracle Network hospitals in Central Florida and share the funds raised through Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network. Funds raised at the Panda Express Grand Opening event will be used to purchase patient care equipment, fund research and provide educational programs and diversionary activities for the more than 250,000 children treated at Shands Children's Hospital and Arnold Palmer Hospital each year.
