LIVE Auction “Americana” Trips available at July 4th Celebration of Freedom

ORLANDO, FL, June 13, 2006 – American Fundraising Auctions will host a live auction to benefit Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network on July 4th at the Celebration of Freedom event at Central Winds Park in Winter Springs. The live auction will take place on the O-Rock 105.9 stage beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Spectators can bid on incredible trips like: a Broadway weekend in New York, a ride down the Mississippi River on an old fashioned stern wheel paddle boat, a trip to a dude ranch for a week of real cattle driving, a week in the unspoiled mountains of Central Oregon, up the coast of Maine for fresh lobster, a special Blue Hawaii cruise and more!

Admission to Celebration of Freedom is free so bring the whole family to watch the spectacular fireworks display. Kids will enjoy the games, rock climbing wall, bounce houses and dunk tanks. Big kids will enjoy the concession vendors, and musical guests. A silent auction will be held beginning at 5:00 p.m. and ending at 8:30 p.m. in the Children's Miracle Network area in addition to the live auction at 7:30 p.m. Participants can bid on autographed sports memorabilia, golf packages, weekend get-aways, attraction tickets and more!

All proceeds from the silent and live auctions will benefit the pediatric programs at Shands Children's Hospital at the University of Florida and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children through Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network. The funds will be used to purchase patient care equipment, fund research, provide diversionary activities and produce patient education materials.
