Magic Cares 4 Kids Radiothon on Magic 107.7 - February 12-15, Thursday thru Sunday.

Background: On February 12-15, WMGF Magic 107.7 will host a four-day radiothon called  “Magic Cares 4 Kids”.   All proceeds from the event will benefit Greater Orlando Children’s Miracle Network.

Magic 107.7’s morning show team, Dave and Leslye, will broadcast live throughout the four days from the Lake Beauty entrance of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women.  They will be joined by mid-day host Brenda Matthews and afternoon host Ken Payne.

The Radiothon program, sponsored by IOF Foresters, is a partnership of radio stations and hospitals coming together to raise funds and awareness to benefit children’s health through Children’s Miracle Network (Children's Miracle Network).  Children's Miracle Network supports 170 hospitals throughout North America that specialize in treating children.  Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women are the participating Children's Miracle Network hospitals in Central Florida and share the funds raised through Greater Orlando Children’s Miracle Network.   These hospitals use Children's Miracle Network funds to support equipment, research and programs that benefit all children.

Over the last three years the Magic Cares 4 Kids Radiothon has raised nearly $700,000.  This year Magic hopes to reach the million dollar mark.
