FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

IT’S NOT JUST A HOME – IT’S A MIRACLE
RE/MAX and Continental Homes & Interiors Partner to Benefit

Orlando, FL – A miracle is building in Central Florida’s backyard. Prospective homeowners will have the chance to own the fully furnished RE/MAX Miracle Home, located on Tom Watson’s Independence Signature Golf Course in Reunion Resort & Club. The 4,500-plus square-foot, European-style inspired house is being built at cost with 100 percent of the net proceeds to benefit Greater Orlando Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). Constructed through contributions from Continental Homes & Interiors, RE/MAX of Florida and numerous Central Florida business partners, the home is valued at more than $1.2 million.

This five bedroom/six bathroom home features an outstanding view of the golf course from its two master suites. The second story balcony overlooks the spacious two-story family room and European-designed courtyard – with a fountain, outdoor fireplace and gazebo. The natural stone swimming pool and luxury spa complete the back yard. In addition to being fully furnished, the home will be equipped to include most household items, including kitchen utensils!

IT’S NOT JUST A HOUSE – ADD ONE

The Miracle Home is being built by Keith Clarke, president of Continental Homes & Interiors. His wife Kate, who is secretary of the company, is the interior designer. The couple has worked side-by-side for more than 15 years and were inspired to construct the luxury home after attending CMN’s annual art auction in 2003.

To connect the home’s interior design with the children it will benefit, Kate Clarke spent a great deal of time brainstorming with kids who have been treated at CMN hospitals. “Their ideas inspired me to create this ‘dream home,’” she said. “You’ll see that the house has a warm inviting feel with a personality of its own. For instance, the outdoor spa is set in stone and detailed with the handprints and signatures of the children whose lives have been touched by CMN – it’s not just a house … it’s a home.”

Located near Walt Disney World® in the Reunion Resort & Club’s gated community, the RE/MAX Miracle Home owners will have access to three golf courses, a planned comprehensive spa and fitness center, an interactive multi-level five-and-a-half-acre water park, and Reunion Square with boutique shopping, dining and more.

Letters of intent to purchase the RE/MAX Miracle Home will be accepted from February 28 through March 25. The net proceeds will benefit the Greater Orlando Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, which include Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children& Women and Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida. Since RE/MAX became the exclusive real-estate sponsor of CMN in 1992, RE/MAX Associates have raised more than $56 million for the participating hospitals throughout North America.
