Brianna - Oviedo
Little girls should be going to school and playing with their friends not spending their days in the hospital receiving chemotherapy. But last year 70 children were diagnosed with cancer at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and, unfortunately, eight-year-old Brianna was one of them.
Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Brianna is now a "frequent flyer" at Arnold Palmer Hospital. She actually looks forward to her visits and especially enjoys spending time in the playroom doing her favorite arts and crafts like scrapbooking and beading.
If all goes well Brianna's treatments will end in January 2011 and she can look forward to a bright future, maybe even as a nurse or a ChildLife Specialist when she grows up!
