Each year in January, Panera Bread sponsors the annual Coins For Kids drive to kick off the Magic 107.7 Cares For Kids Radiothon. Since 2002, Panera Bread customers, Magic 107.7 listeners and friends of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in Central Florida have collected nearly a quarter of a million dollars in spare change. That's a lot of dough! Participants receive a coin bag to fill and earn a certificate for a free You Pick Two® from Panera Bread when they turn in their coins.
You can collect coins in your business year round using one of the many canister options available from Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Canisters come in a variety of shapes and sizes and secured canisters are available for use in high traffic areas.
Change for Miracles is a turn-key round up program that is an ideal fundraising format for retailers, restaurants and other service providers. Employees simply ask customers if they would like to round up their bill with the difference going to their local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals hospital. Change for Miracles can be easily programmed into most cash registers, "pay at the pump" gas station set ups, restaurant ordering systems and programmable payment systems.
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals has created support materials for the Change for Miracles program that are delivered to the participating sponsor locations in a standard kit that includes posters, goal charts, counter clings/cards, window clings, buttons and a guidebook. These tools will help the sponsor execute a successful Change for Miracles campaign. Whether a sponsor is adding the Change for Miracles program to an already successful Miracle Balloon campaign or they are implementing it as a first fundraising effort for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Change for Miracles is a simple, effective means of raising funds for children's hospitals in the communities in which sponsors, their employees and their customers work and live.
