Butterfly Experience at Oviedo Mall

Oviedo Mall announces its first-ever live butterfly experience for families and children that also supports Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals!

Admission to this interactive exhibit is only $2 and is open to all ages. Visitors can tour the butterfly house and interact with over 150 live butterflies in their special habitat Monday through Saturday from 10am - 8pm and 12pm – 5pm on Sundays. Guests can also take a photo with a butterfly, create butterfly crafts, view a life-cycle kiosk, and adopt-a-butterfly to take home.

Adopt-a-Butterfly kits are available to purchase for $9, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Each Adopt-a-butterfly kit comes with 2 caterpillars and food so that the miracle can be experienced at home as they form their chrysalis and eventually become butterflies.

Field trips, which meet national curriculum framework standards, are available for school aged children, kindergarten through 5^th grade, for only $4 with the option of adding a lunch from Chick-fil-A or Subway for an additional fee.  Highlights of field trips include interaction with over 150 live butterflies, the chance to hold a live butterfly, and learn about the special butterfly house ecosystem. Also included is an interactive game to quiz knowledge about butterflies body parts, life cycle, and habitat.
